"Arrived before 12.00 to be told they weren't opening until 12.00. One wall of the restaurant is the cliff and in the toilet, watch your head or you will collide with it. Service was helpful and friendly and the food was good."

"Potentially the best meal of my 18 day trip through France. Foie Gras, confit duck and fries, and the walnut Tart were all outstanding. Easily the best French fries of the trip so far."

"Beautiful little restaurant, really stunning setting inside. Food is great, traditional perigourdian fayre. Staff were lovely. We chose the more expensive wine and it did not disappoint, really really delicious... Domaine La Cave. Wishing now that we had bought a second bottle to take home :) We visited in December and the Christmas decor was splendid, but I can also see how this would be a lovely cool haven to eat at during the summer heat."

"This was a fantastic lunch and we would totally go back. The vibe is great especially for this village and the food was amazing. Try the escargots, the chèvre salad, the salmon, and the duck confit with French fries. You will not be disappointed . Our server Soizic was lovely."

"The restaurant is built into the side of the cliff/cave. We went here twice during our trip and both times the food was amazing. I had both the duck and the burger. Most duck that I have had is very fatty but this was perfectly trimmed. It came with a red berry sauce that matched perfectly with the duck. The second time I ordered the burger and it was one of the best burgers I have ever had. It was well seasoned and it came with a delicious sauce. There is only 1 person waiting tables but they do a great job making sure everyone has everything they need."

"We cannot rate this gorgeous place highly enough. The food was delicious and obviously prepared with pride and skill, the setting was extraordinary with 11th century rock carvings above our heads, but it was the service and welcome from our server Ethan that made the evening perfect. After a 28km hike we were just delighted and so grateful for this place. We are sad to be leaving tomorrow. I suggest you book this place immediately!"
